phew. this week has been madness. had AS retakes. was so stressed and tired. been sleeping at 1am++ and getting up before 7.30am to try and squeeze in that little extra and a relaxing weekend has just swooped by just like that. i miss public holidays. back home we have public holidays for whatever event and blablabla. the weekdays here pass by so slowly, maybe coz i live on campus and i see my classrooms every single day. what a joy? not!

today i realized i have no more movies to watch! YES i finish watching 4 seasons of gilmore girls in 3 weeks and under? LOL. i need k-dramas. the last i watch was Wanted Son-In-Law. feel so outdated. someone recommend me something to watch thats already out on DVD! back home can buy pirated DVDs and watch every single movie for RM5 each or stg which isnt even a pound here. how i miss cheap things. haha.

totally random thought of the day. im damn sad. all the snow has melted away and all i see is grass again. AND OMG. THERE WAS A FLY ON MY WINDOW THIS MORNING. its suppose to be winter, thus NO FLIES but no the damn fly had to survive the cold n come to my window. reminded me of my fly attack in the autumn. i solemnly swear i HATE FLIES. though i cant wait for summer, the thought of having stupid flies n not being able to open my window totally sucks.

anyway i have been in the UK for 4 months 1 week 2 days without going back yet. the longest i have been away from home coz last year i went back for Easter for 2 weeks which was a blast but a total waste of time coz i didnt study at all n lugged my books back n forth malaysia for nothing. so its ONLY another 5 months 1 week and 5 days (approximately) till i go home for summer. cant wait. this summer i can bum around, travel and just have fun. :) tata

im back in Concord for my final 6 months of A Levels.

2009 has been one of the fastest years that gone by for me. I arrived in Concord almost exactly one year ago going through orientation and everything which is what Clare is going through now and every day in the UK just breezed by and before I knew it I was going back for Easter and finished with my AS Levels. Then summer came aong and the 3 months breezed by as well as I had quite an unproductive summer of just fun in the sun or SPF :D:D then judgement day came when my AS results came out. it was okay la. not that great but i think i should have done better and before i knew it summer ended and i was yet again back in Concord and stressed with UCAS applications. the Autumn Term was full of ups and downs mostly downs with UCAS. haha. now im patiently waiting for interviews. feeling even more stressed because I only have 4 medical school choices.

secretly i miss home everyday. i miss being in Lodge. the days were fast but not as fast as the days here. i miss being in Kuching and being chauffeured to school everyday. life was not as stressful and i could play everyday and still get good grades. and i still miss my Kuchingnites and my pretty car to drive.

but i guess 2009 has thought me to be independent and self-motivated. there's noone to yell at me everyday to get up. there's noone to tell me off if i dont study. there's noone to tell me to clean my room, wash my dishes, put my clothes in the laundry, stack my clothes nicely, clear my table, dont let my wires trail in my room, eat my meals & etc. it has also thought me to be a better person. i learnt a heap of new things which i didnt know back in kuching and i learned to be strong. there were times i just had to suck it up and fend for myself.

now that im 18, im not a kid anymore. im just gonna have to grow up and take responsibility for myself. im sure mum & dad will be happy to read this.

anyway AS retakes are next week. got to study. wish me luck everyone :)

okay im bored so im back to blogging.

humm

so wats on the agenda?

this Autumn Term has been serious madness. from day 1, i had so much on my mind. UKCAT, BMAT *at first* until i decided not to apply to Imperial, UCAS, Personal statements and just the heavy workload on A2s. the stress levels keep piling up every single day and there's so much to do. thinking which medical school i should apply to? lecture based? PBL? intergrated? and WHERE most importantly. after awhile i just decided after contemplating for so long but now still thinking whether i made the right choice.

and after obsessively checking my email every hour, i have FINALLY got an interview about a month ago from Manchester med school. thank god else i think i'll be freaking out. so fingers crossed for my interview & offer. im quite nervous actually.

furthermore, we cannot neglect all of Concord's social activities, we had endless discos, and Halloween and half term & Manchester & Mexico day & Green day & my sis bday & finally xmas dinner & my failed "surprise" bday party from my housemates. it was so hilarious cause i kinda found out when Tzu Ying said in Mandarin *assuming that i wouldnt understand* telling Jessica to faster because im in the toilet. ahaha. i have a ton of photos but i think i kinda transferred everything to my harddrive to clear up my laptop.

and then 12.12.2009. my 18th birthday in london. the day before 11.12 was Sheue Ker's B'day so we went to Myungga for Korean BBQ and coz there was a reservation at 8pm. we went at 7pm so we had to rush our meal a bit. haha. but it was so awesome. strongly recommend it. its in Soho at the intersection of Kingly & Beak Street. S ker and i had some soju while jess had her green tea was it? LOL we bought sake in chinatown and went to jess's hotel in russell square and drank sake and ate cake. i swear when i was going back i felt a bit wooooozey. haha

then my bday lucky came down early on 12th and we went shopping. was fun. then had dinner @ Satay House & headed to Hyde Park for Winter Wonderland.

now, im in london. feel kinda lousey although its snowing. i'd rather be home in my nice house, driving a nice car and sleeping on my nice big bed. LOL. and i guess coz everyone's back home with a few ppl stuck in london as well. i think we r suppose to have a CC dinner sometime soon but yeah. haha and coz everyone is back in Kuching. eventhough my family is here, it doesnt beat going home with friends also esp IG2 people. havent seen them mid November last year. feeling nostalgic again. EH WHY NOONE post anything about reunion dinner!!! i miss u guys :( esp CSLAM is back except me the A. anyway have a good holiday everyone. :):)

have so much to do. retakes ahrr. feel like killing myself. worst xmas holiday ever coz everyday on the back of my mind. jan retakes jan retakes JAN RETAKES. cant wait for summer when all my offers and rejections? come through and i go back and step on to malaysian soil after 10 months? though i kinda dont like malaysia. well not its biggest fan in some aspects but i miss the food & home and home is truly where my heart is.

have roughly decided on the date im coming back during summer. possibly 29th/30th june 2010 leaving london? cause my last paper is F325 Chemistry on 28th june.

wow i have abandoned my blog for a long time.

sighs

im back in the UK and its so stressful. i am just finished with university applications ( UCAS as we call it) and I just sat for my UKCAT exam on friday. did pretty okay so yeah. i still have BMAT to sit for in november. very stressful being a medic.

CC has been good to me though i think. back to the whole study routine again. better than me lazing around all day. LOL unfortunately i wont be coming back till summer next yr which is june-sept and maybe not even come back just yet. im thinking of staying on for awhile till july then coming back but we'll see how it goes.

i MISS KOLO MEE SO MUCH ALREADY THOUGH! and cha kueh. omg :(:(

my sis is having her last week of school this week. just one year ago we were in the same position. gosh time passes by so fast dont u agree? I DONT WANNA BE OLD!!!!! :(
